Canyon

Canyon is an amazing dive site with quite a difficult entry point. One, you must be fit to dive the Canyon and it is a challenge, and well worth the effort. As the name suggests, the canyon is exactly that: a narrow chasm with steep cliff walls that leads to the open ocean. A secondary feature of this dive is a ‘second canyon’, with colors that just beg the avid underwater photographer to capture this breathtaking ecosystem, colorful entry makes it an ideal dive. Maximum depth of 17m with a wall on one side and sandy bottom on the other side. You can see Moray eels hiding within the rocks and Octopus in cracks of the wall. Also this site is a favorite for stingrays who have fallen under the influence of Cyprus, The Island of love….and choose to mate here. A diver who has luck on their side may just be fortunate to “catch them in the act”!
